Cassy’s mother was a hairstylist for over 40 years. So, growing up she would enjoy coloring and styling dolls’ hair, while her mother worked. However, she decided to go to college to study kinesiology against her mother’s wishes. Her mother saw the talent she had within the cosmetics industry! 

Two months after graduation, Cassy officially began her beauty journey. Working 60+ hours a week and entering any hair contest imaginable, she, then, also graduated from beauty school as the Valedictorian of her class.

Now, she can’t picture herself in any other career. We’re so lucky to have Cassy as our key educators at our Boho Braids & Blending events!

Brody started his career at Paul Mitchell in 2014. He went from music to hair. He is specialized in short hair, from fades to medium length textured haircuts. His passion for cutting started earlier in hair school. He wanted to emulate the European haircutters he grew up liking! He is an Avid Golfer and still works in the music industry ollaborating with local promoters to help run shows.

Justin has been educating and inspiring future hairstylists as well as established licensed hairstylists since 2008. He specializes in all haircuts from fades to modern bobs, shags, and any form of long layers.

He also specializes in all forms of color, highlights, color corrections, and vivids, which are perfectly placed to match haircuts.

Luis Ayestas has been in the industry since 2012. He was born in New Orleans and raised in Texas, growing up in a family of hair stylists. Watching generations of his family do hair made it very easy for him to find his niche. He was trained under his cousin, a successful salon owner and platform artist. Which in turn gave Luis the knowledge and business background to be able to open his own salon with his wife. 

He has a passion for foiling and blonding. Lived-in looks are one of his specialties. He also really enjoys precision cutting. Education has played a major part in his growth as a stylist. Luis is now pursuing education in his career after mastering his craft for the past decade. He is here to help stylists expand their clientele and spread hair love!

Arthuro “2Row” Varona embodies the essence of modern barbering fused with traditional values. Growing up in the heart of Texas, his journey from childhood hair experiments to professional mastery has been a testament to his passion for the craft. Inspired by family traditions and fueled by a desire for self-expression, 2Row honed his skills to specialize in Lifestyle looks with Traditional and Modern Barbering techniques.

2Row’s commitment to his artistry goes beyond just the haircutting; it’s about creating an unforgettable experience for his clients. His journey, chronicled from makeshift garage studios to the prestigious Lather Lounge Barber Shop, reflects his dedication to excellence and customer satisfaction. Through meaningful conversations and meticulous consultations, 2Row crafts not just haircuts, but connections, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who sits in his chair.

Growing up sweeping floors at a hometown barbershop, Joey always wanted to be the man behind that chair. He started cutting hair about 14 years ago, but decided to make a career out of it only 5 years ago. He’s always had a love for the craft of barbering and for tradesmen work in general, whether it was the smell of aftershave or how the business works. He is the one other man one could come to for a shoulder, ear, and a decent haircut, shave and beard trim. Now, he’s turned his focus to teaching others what he learned over the years.
